A Core Team is a long-lived, cross-functional engineering group that builds and runs your company’s backbone systems—the foundations every product squad relies on. Think platform + infrastructure, not a one-off project crew.

They typically own:

  • DevOps/SRE & cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, observability, security, cost control)
  • Backend services & APIs (high-scale, standards, SLOs)
  • Data engineering & processing (pipelines, warehouses, governance)
  • MLOps & AI platforms (model training/serving, feature stores)

How ours work: through Full-Cycle Core Team Hiring, we recruit, validate, hire, onboard, and operate this team (EOR, payroll, and ops included). A common lineup is a Tech Lead/Architect, 2–4 Backend Engineers (Java/Scala/Python), 1–2 Data Engineers, 1 MLOps/Platform Engineer, 1 DevOps/SRE, and QA—stood up in 4–6 weeks, run to SLAs/KPIs, and scaled 5→50 as needs grow.

Not just staff augmentation: a Core Team is an accountable unit that owns reliability, performance, and shared capabilities – not just extra pairs of hands.
