If there’s one thing we know at Correct Context, it’s that incredible tech talent doesn’t just appear out of nowhere. It grows in communities. It’s nurtured in late-night hackathons, spirited debates over Linux distributions, and local meetups where developers share their passion for code.
That’s exactly why we are so excited to announce that Correct Context is officially a Silver Partner for the 15th edition of Poznańska Impreza Wolnego Oprogramowania (P.I.W.O.) — the Poznań Free Software Fest!

What is P.I.W.O.?

If you’re part of the IT scene in Poland, you probably already know P.I.W.O. Since its start back in 2004, it has been a cornerstone event dedicated to everything free, libre, and open-source. It’s a completely free-to-attend conference where developers, system admins, DevOps engineers, and tech enthusiasts gather to celebrate the GNU/Linux family of operating systems and the broader open-source ecosystem.
This year’s event is happening on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) here in Poznań. And trust us, it’s going to be massive. The organizers are planning the biggest edition in the event’s history, featuring three parallel lecture tracks, a dedicated workshop track, a LAN Party, and a special Python track put together with PyCon PL and PyPoznań.

Why We Are Getting Involved

At Correct Context, our entire business is built on connecting global enterprises with the absolute best IT professionals in Poland and the CEE region. Whether we’re building teams focused on Big Data analytics, Cloud infrastructure, or AI/ML, the foundation of almost every project we touch relies heavily on open-source technologies.
We believe that companies who benefit from the open-source ecosystem have a responsibility to give back to it. Sponsoring P.I.W.O. is our way of supporting the local grassroots community that makes Poland such a powerhouse of tech talent. It’s about investing in the people who are pushing boundaries, sharing knowledge, and building the future of IT infrastructure.
Grab your free ticket over at and we will see you in Poznań!
(Can’t make it in person? The whole event will be live-streamed on PeerTube and YouTube, so you can still join the fun online!)
